Someone I know (and I won't say who!) had cosmetic surgery recently to zap her under-eye "bags"--the ones that seem to get worse with age. Ever since, I've been keeping a close eye (get it?) on my lids, watching for them to go south and wondering if cosmetic surgery is in my future. According to UCLA researchers, it's probably not tiredness, wrinkles, stress or weakened ligaments, as previously thought, that contribute to under-eye bags. The reason your lower lids could be puffy, they say, is fat--yep fat!--which can accumulate under your eyes with age.
